A Few Words on Evolutionary Astrology & My Mission Statement

About Evolutionary Astrology

Evolutionary astrology isn’t predictive in the fortune-telling sense.

Instead, it’s an invitation to reflection - to ask:

  • What patterns keep repeating in my life?

  • How do I respond to challenge and change?

  • Who am I becoming?

Through the lens of evolutionary astrology, these questions become pathways to awareness, helping you understand your soul’s growth and the deeper purpose behind your experiences.

Through your birth chart, we explore your emotional landscape, inherited patterns, and the deeper questions that shape your life - purpose, relationships, career, and trust. This is a system that honours your free will, offering awareness and language to help you choose consciously and live with intention.

For those navigating a Saturn Return, Evolutionary Astrology offers a compass - a way to find meaning in the upheaval. It helps you see that what feels like falling apart is often life’s way of bringing something truer together, calling you into alignment with who you’re becoming.

Evolutionary astrology places free will at the heart of how we respond to our unique life experiences. Through self-study, awareness, and compassion, it empowers us to make choices that guide us closer to our true purpose and the fullest expression of our souls in this incarnation. It offers perspective and clarity, reminding us that while fate and destiny shape the opportunities we face, we always have the power to choose our own path.

One of the most daunting ideas about exploring yourself through astrology is the fear that something scary will be predicted in your future. Yet whether we choose to study astrology or not, life itself is a symphony, highs and lows, loud and quiet moments, passages that delight us and others that frustrate.

By exploring yourself through astrology, you can begin to see your patterns of reaction in a neutral, objective way. The symbolic language of planets and signs reveals how certain experiences and outcomes repeat, allowing the personal to feel both smaller and larger at once. This is one of the alchemical powers of astrology: to illuminate, transform, and deepen your understanding of yourself.

As we deepen our understanding of ourselves, we can begin to ask, and answer: “Given my unique astrological composition, which reactions to my inner being or external events support my truest expression, and which lead me toward less authentic, more reactive patterns?”

Those I am drawn to work with often recognise parts of themselves that can be obsessive, addictive, compulsive, or at times divisive. They carry immense power and influence in the world, which - without constructive guidance - can become destructive to themselves and others.

When we gain a perspective informed by something larger (the universe!) and more ancient (astrology has been practised for over 4,000 years), we can see ourselves more clearly. Without this, it’s easy to become lost in the views of others or misled by the distorting lens of contemporary culture and society.

My astrology practice has been deeply shaped by the teachings of evolutionary astrologer Steven Forrest, with whom I’ve studied in person during two week-long sessions at the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies. I am also influenced by fellow evolutionary astrologer Jeffrey Wolfe Greene, particularly his work on Pluto, as well as the writings and guidance of Barbara Hand-Clow and Liz Greene, whose work continues to inspire and inform my approach.

My Mission Statement: Why do you do what you do?

To see ourselves as the sky does - to understand the threads and textures of the archetypes that compose us, as revealed through our astrology - is to connect our unique being to the oneness and the vast cosmic order we are part of.

In a world conditioned to believe that the material is inert, that chance rules, and that the Earth exists simply to be exploited, astrology offers a radical and essential shift: it reminds us that we are purposeful, intentional offspring of our planet, each endowed with certain talents and gifts meant to be shared during our time on Gaia.

It is both humbling and profoundly meaningful to strive to understand who we are, and to grapple with the ultimate question: Why am I here?

I particularly love working with those who are avid observers of the natural world, artists, communicators, and deep thinkers, people who are ready to explore the mysteries of themselves through the language of the stars.

  • Those who are committed to seeing themselves as a positive force in the world, expressed through their intentions and the actions that follow.

  • Those passionate souls who feel life intensely, sometimes struggling to be compassionate with their own sensitivity, and who seek to channel it as a strength rather than a weakness.

  • Those who believe that learning can illuminate any situation.

  • Those who feel at home in the natural world, yet occasionally out of place in the human one.

  • Those with something to say, but who wonder how to be truly heard.

  • Those who seek a reality that is more expansive, meaningful, and wondrous than the one offered by conventional society.

  • Those who have experienced the death of a loved one as a portal to a new, soulful connection.

  • Those who observe time and patterns, discovering that our lived experiences are rich messengers.

  • Those who are naturally curious, eager to explore the edges of their curiosity and see where it leads.

  • Those longing to understand their relationships from a fresh, cosmic perspective.

  • Those who love stories and have felt their lives transformed by a book.
